 Odisha Free Electricity Yojana: Modi government is providing free electricity to people. For this, the government has launched a new scheme. 300 units of free electricity will be provided to the people under Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Free Electricity Yojana. The scheme was recently approved by the Union Cabinet. Under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Yojana, people have to install solar panels on the roof of their houses for electricity. How to Apply for Odisha 300 Unit Free Electricity 2024 ?

• 1- First of all interested customers have to register on the national portal www.pmsuryagarh.gov.in.
• 2- This work has to be done by selecting the State and the Electricity Distribution Company (Discom).
• 3- Electricity user number, mobile number and email ID also have to be entered.
• 4- Once registered, one can login with customer number and mobile number.
• 5- Customers can apply for rooftop solar by filling the form on the portal.
• 6- If this happens, the customer will have to wait for approval from the local discom. The government has said that after getting the approval, the solar plant will have to be installed by any registered vendor in its discom.
