Eligibility for the scholarship is open to all girl students who have successfully passed both Class 10 and Class 12 as regular students from a government school or college in any of the eligible States or Union Territories. Applicants must have secured admission in the first year of the academic session 2025–26 as regular students in a recognised undergraduate degree or diploma programme, with a duration of two to five years. Admission may be at any government institution or a credible and bona fide private college or university located anywhere in India.
