The Directorate of Secondary Education, Odisha, has submitted information regarding the vacancies of non-teaching staff in Fully Aided High Schools as per Govt. letter No.19063/SME Dt.14.07.2025. Out of the sanctioned strength of 2,760 posts, 1,619 vacancies have been identified, including those in Minority Managed Fully Aided High Schools. Since the managing committees of Minority Managed Schools are empowered to recruit staff, 53 vacancies (18 Junior Clerk and 35 Peon) will be filled by them. Accordingly, 1,566 vacancies (439 Junior Clerk and 1,127 Peon) are available for recruitment at the Government level. This initiative aims to strengthen the administrative structure of schools, improve efficiency, and ensure smooth functioning of the education system across the state.

Odisha Non-Teaching Staff Recruitment 2026 Education Qualification:

• Peon: The Candidate must have passed Minimum 10th pass (or +2 in some cases) from a recognized Board.
• Junior Clerk: The Candidate must have passed Usually Graduation from a recognized University. Computer knowledge / typing skills / PGDCA sometimes required.
