Odisha Police has released a recruitment notification for 800 Special Police Officer (SPO) posts for the year 2026. This recruitment is open to retired Assistant Sub-Inspectors, Sub-Inspectors, and Inspectors of Police who are residents of Odisha. Selected candidates will be appointed on a contract basis, and the salary will be provided as per the Government of Odisha Finance Department Memo No.24533/F dated 22.09.2022. Applicants must be 65 years or below to be eligible for the post. Interested candidates need to apply through offline mode before the last date of 30 March 2026.
